OMG, IT'S FINALLY DONE!!

I'm exhausted..

I sketched this one some time last year, but never found the time to finish it. Yesterday was June 23rd - Sonic's birthday! - so I though I could finish this as a lil' present to the blue dude, sort of.
My second attempt to do a full-digital (almost) picture. I still have a loooong way to go if I want to get good at this, but I hafta start with somethin' y'know.
Done in a demo version of Painter 7, with the mouse as I still don't have a tablet, all free-hand - down to the tiniest detail.
Damn, this picture was hard work... I dunno if the background goes good with Sonic or not, but I really suck at backgrounds so I just had to make something. I was a little Rafael Valencia

inspired when doing this pic (I've liked his art ever since the old TeamArtail days).
And I'm sorry the format is this large, but shrinking it would just fuck up the quality. I tried. But full-view please *puppy-eyes* The details looks better then. Or you can just right-click and save it, then view it in any size u want. (e_e)
I'm gonna go put my right hand in a bucket of ice now.. Hope you guys like the picture!
