she who draws

Yep, so this is me.. me without freckles.


I didn't do a self portrait because I'm a big fan of myself, quite the oposite: I don't like me much...
Anyway, I drew this for the sake of practice. I suck at drawing humans and so I needed someone I could draw to become better at it. But since my human-art always ends up looking pretty much like crap, I didn't want to draw someone I knew because I was thinking that if I messed up then maybe they'd feel insulted. So I had to draw someone who wouldn't be insulted if they ended up looking ugly. Therefore a self-portrait.
Not too pleased with the result... as usual.. but at least I've learned a thing or two about portraits from working on this piece.
